Students will understand the social, physical and cognitive developmental stages of adolescence in relation to the tasks of autonomy, identity and intimacy development.

Learning Outcome

Students will be able to demonstrate an understanding of how adolescent development impacts classroom environments. They will be able to integrate theories of classroom management with their knowledge of adolescent development in order to plan future lessons and management practices based on student developmental needs.
